April 2021 Virtual Post Meeting

Our April presentation will be on the San Antonio Water System's (SAWS's) Capital Improvement Program (CIP).

SAWS is a public utilty company owned by the City of San Antonio. It was created in 1992 through the consolidation of three predecessor agencies: the City Water Board (the previous city-owned water supply utility); the City Wastewater Department (a department of the city government responsible for sewage collection and treatment); and the Alamo Water Conservation and Reuse District

The speaker will be Mark Schnur. Mark is a Senior Resource Analyst with the SAWS. He plans the long term CIP and performs asset management for the Sewer System improvement program. Mark has been with SAWS since 2006.

Mark is a Project Management Professional and holds a Master's Degree in Environmental Science from the University of Texas at San Antonio. He is a retired officer from the U.S. Army Reserve, with service in Afghanistan during Operation Enduring Freedom.

1. There is NO COST to join this online meeting. We will be using ZOOM technology for this meeting.
2. You do NEED TO MAKE RESERVATION(s) for the meeting for our tracking purposes and PDH credit.
3. The DEADLINE for reservations is Wednesday, April 14, by 12 noon (CT) or until space runs out.
4. You will be emailed the link for the event before the meeting. PLEASE BE SURE you enter your correct and a valid email address during registration so you receive the link to the meeting and any updates on the meeting.

OTHER INFO

1. There is Professional Development Hour (PDH) credit available for those participating in the meeting, but you MUST BE REGISTERED for the meeting for PDH credit. Certificates will be emailed to registered attendees.
2. We will post the speakers' presentations (if the speaker give us permission) at our website following the meeting.
